Gianni Bencich is a Peruvian composer working mostly with conceptual and electroacoustic music.

As a composer and sound researcher, his work finds inspiration in art, science and mysticism. The essence of his language is based on the interaction of materials and concepts through aesthetic and temporal design.

From 2016 to 2019, he was the director of Musuq, a non-profit organization for the creation and promotion of new music, with special emphasis on Peruvian composers and new technology.

He is also a founding member and collaborator of the Peruvian Community for Sound Studies, and an occasional improviser on piano, viola, electronics and Andean instruments.
