Gianni Bencich is a Peruvian composer of acoustic, electroacoustic and conceptual music.

His recent work is centered on the formalization of aesthetic experience as a compositional plane, using material aesthetic and immaterial content perception to develop an eclectic language, where form comes from aesthetic eigenvalues and multi-scale temporal design and supra-structural relationships are non-evident to traditional music logic.

From 2016 to 2019, he was the director of Musuq, a non-profit organization for the creation and promotion of new music, with special emphasis on Peruvian composers and new technology.

He is also a founding member and collaborator of the Peruvian Community for Sound Studies, and an occasional improviser on piano, viola, electronics and Andean instruments.
